About The Junior SEO Executive Role
We’re looking for a Junior SEO Executive who’s got two things we absolutely can’t teach: brilliant written communication skills and a genuine appetite for learning everything else.
Never heard of meta tags? No problem. Don’t know your keywords from your key phrases? We’ll sort that. What we need is someone who can write engaging content and isn’t fazed by the idea of diving headfirst into the world of search engine optimisation.

Junior SEO Executive

Full-time, permanent position.
Salary
Circa Β£23,800K β Β£25,000 (DOE) + commission + performance bonuses
Location
Hybrid – work from our offices or from home.
(Must be a UK resident with a valid driving license)
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will need to have excellent written communication skills and a genuine appetite for learning.
Within this role, some of the key areas you will be responsible for are…
- Content creation: Use those writing skills to craft SEO-friendly content that people actually want to read
- Basic keyword research: We’ll teach you how to find the search terms that matter to businesses
- On-page optimisation: Learn to tweak meta tags, headings, and content (sounds scary, but it’s actually quite fun)
- Support our SEO team: Help with link building, outreach, and performance monitoring
- Report compilation: Turn data into insights that make sense to real humans
- Stay curious: Keep up with SEO changes and trends (with plenty of guidance from the team)

- Genuine eagerness to learn β SEO changes constantly, and you think that’s exciting, not terrifying
- Attention to detail β you naturally spot things others miss
- Research skills β you enjoy digging into topics and finding answers
Desirable
It would be great if our future Junior SEO Exec also had these skills.
Nice to have (but honestly, we can teach you):
- Any familiarity with SEO tools or basic HTML
- Interest in digital marketing
- Some understanding of how search engines work
Experience & Qualifications:
- No formal marketing qualifications needed β we care more about attitude than certificates
- A relevant degree is nice to have, but not essential.
- Under 2 years of marketing experience (or none at all β perfect!)
