A year of giving back
2025 marks 30 incredible years for Laser Red!
We have set an ambitious goal to mark this milestone: raise £30,000 for charity throughout the year. Our team is committed to this challenge, and we plan to make it a year of giving back and supporting meaningful causes for us and our local communities.
We’ll host a series of fundraising events from January 1st to December 31st, 2025. The goal is to make a tangible impact on a selection of charities that we deeply care about.
Many of these charities are personally significant to our team, whether they’ve directly helped us, our families, or the people we know.
Our focus is also on supporting local causes near our Grimsby and Lincoln offices, ensuring that we make a direct difference in the communities we serve.
The charities we’re supporting
As we look ahead to our busy fundraising year, we’re proud to announce some charities benefiting from our efforts. The list includes a range of organisations providing vital support and services to people in need, including:
- SADS UK: Supporting families affected by Sudden Arrhythmic Death Syndrome (SADS) by raising awareness and providing vital resources.
- NSPCC Louth: Working to protect children and provide services for those who need help the most.
- Grimsby & Cleethorpes SANDS: Offering support to parents who have tragically lost a baby, as well as their families.
- Nunny’s Farm: A local community farm that provides therapeutic and educational support for individuals, especially those with additional needs.
- Macmillan Cancer Support: Aiding those impacted by cancer, ensuring they receive the care and emotional support they deserve.
- Huntington’s Disease Association: Supporting families affected by Huntington’s disease, helping them manage the impact of this debilitating illness.
- St Barnabas Hospice: An independent hospice charity that provides free, specialist palliative care to anyone in Lincolnshire.
While we have chosen these charities as a starting point, we remain open to expanding our fundraising efforts to other organisations.

Our fundraising events
As we reach the halfway point in this exciting challenge, we’ve already begun planning several fundraising events throughout the year. We are bringing back the Macmillan Coffee Morning for a third year, inviting friends, family, and colleagues to enjoy coffee and cake while contributing to an important cause.
Additionally, Liam and Kirsty are taking on the challenge of climbing Mount Kilimanjaro as part of their fundraising effort, including a rigorous 4-month training plan before the big event. This daunting yet inspiring adventure will be in aid of Grimsby & Cleethorpes SANDS.
We’re also preparing for a potential summer skydive. We’re hoping several team members will face their fear of heights for a great cause; we’re hoping it’ll help Dan conquer his fear of heights!
Alongside these challenges, we’re working on organising a large-scale fundraising event, which promises to be one of our biggest and most exciting endeavours yet.
While these are just some of our initial plans, we’re committed to organising at least one event every month throughout 2025, so there will be plenty of opportunities for everyone to get involved.

Our goal is not only to raise funds but to raise awareness for these incredible charities and to unite our team and our community in the spirit of giving back.
